01About ToolkitGo

ToolkitGo is a technology-enabled marketplace that connects customers with independent service professionals for household and maintenance services including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, cleaning, carpentry, painting, and maintenance services. ToolkitGo facilitates bookings, communications, and payments, while actual services are performed by independent professionals.

02User Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding agreements under Indian law. Where a booking is made on behalf of an organization or business, the user warrants they have the authority to bind that entity.

03Account Registration & Security

Users are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintaining the confidentiality and security of login credentials and OTPs.
• All activities and bookings conducted through their registered account.
• Not creating accounts using false identities or unauthorized details.

04Booking & Service Execution

• Customers may request services through the platform based on location and professional availability.
• Service timings may occasionally vary due to traffic, location, emergencies, or operational factors.
• Any diagnosis, inspection, spare parts replacement, or additional work identified on-site must be communicated and agreed upon with the customer before execution.

05Pricing, Payments & Additional Work

• Standard service charges, inspection, or estimated costs are displayed prior to booking confirmation.
• Payments must be processed securely through approved digital payment gateways or authorized cash-on-delivery options.
• Inspection, diagnosis, or visit charges, where applicable, may remain payable even if the customer chooses not to proceed with the recommended repair.
• Spare parts, consumables, and extra tasks outside the initial booking scope will incur separate, mutually agreed charges.

06Service Professionals (Independent Contractors)

• Service professionals are independent third-party contractors and not employees, agents, or representatives of ToolkitGo.
• While ToolkitGo conducts onboarding and verification checks based on provided documentation, this does not constitute an absolute guarantee of a professional's performance or fitness for every specific task.

07User & Professional Responsibilities (Code of Conduct)

Customer Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, clear, and reasonable access to the service location.
• Ensure a safe working environment (keeping pets and children away from hazardous work areas).
• Refrain from abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or unlawful behavior toward service professionals.
• Avoid forcing professionals to perform unauthorized work outside the agreed scope.

Professional Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional conduct and safety standards at the service location.
• Respect customer privacy and safeguard customer data.
• Refrain from requesting unauthorized offline payments or extra charges.

08Cancellations and Refunds

All bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling requests are strictly governed by the ToolkitGo Refund & Cancellation Policy.

09Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ToolkitGo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, property damage, or consequential losses arising from services performed by independent professionals. Nothing in these terms excludes liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian law. Users agree to indemnify ToolkitGo against claims arising from platform misuse or terms violation.

10Intellectual Property

All ToolkitGo logos, brand names, trademarks, UI/UX designs, source code, and website content remain the exclusive intellectual property of ToolkitGo.

11Account Suspension & Termination

ToolkitGo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately in cases of fraud, safety breaches, payment abuse, or violation of these terms.

12Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction applicable to ToolkitGo's registered operations.

13Modifications

ToolkitGo may update these terms periodically. Continued platform usage constitutes formal acceptance of the revised terms.
